Any tips of getting baby to sleep while out and about??

My daughter is nearly 5 months and will not sleep while out and about. I've got 4 other kids so I can't just stay in its not fair on them. Bur everytime I go out my 5mo just won't sleep then once we're home and she's been awake 4+ hours she's just an screaming wreck. She's fine when out and about when we're moving around she just looks around ect but I'm at my wits end. If I stay home she goes for naps no problem and her naps are usually 1/2 hrs long so I know she loves her sleep. We use the car seat while out and about now as she hates the bassinet and cries in it (probably because she can't see anything) the the chair part she hates too.

My little girl was like this in the bassinet we moved her to her bigger bit but slightly recline and she is like a different baby sleeps for hours in the pram now! We also use snooze shade white noise and the rock it xx

Seriously thinking if getting a white noise machine for pushchair x

For mine, forward facing in pram helped. She seems to wear herself off and does fall asleep, if the pram is in motion. Once she is asleep, I can stop
We do have snoozeshade as well for the odd day it's sunny in Ireland

Use a baby carrier! I used the pram about three times, and now it’s just gathering dust - baby girl won’t nap anywhere during the day, apart from on me 😅

I use the snooze shade which covers the whole pram and I always use a portable white noise machine. Recently baby has been ‘off’ and won’t sleep in the pram or cot during the day so I’ve been having to use the carrier but ultimately I know this is just a phase

My daughter is the same. She’s 1 now but has literally never really slept in her buggy even when she was younger, max I would get is about 20 mins and that stopped when she turned about 9 months old and she’d just refuse to sleep in it.
I did have luck with a shade i put over but sometimes she’d cry loads and so I’d take it off because I don’t leave her to cry!
Sorry I can’t be more help!

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(
