Mine still feeds every 3 hours and naps in between so 4 naps, it can be from 20 min catnap to over an hour in a pram.

3/4 naps - we follow wake windows so it's every hour and a half basically. Usually up around 7.30/8, nap whilst on dog walk 9ish for 30/40 mins. Next nap will be 11ish and this one or the next is usually longer so up to 2 hours. Final shorter nap at 5pm, max 30 mins. Bed by 7.30pm. It sounds very structured but he's kind of just got himself into this!

My little girl has 4/5 not really a routine yet.. how are all these babies going to bed at 7 when they aren’t meant to be on there Own till 6 months 😳 she’s goes to bed round nine and i go up with her

Avatar

You don't know anyone's situation so why judge. They could use a monitor or go to bed or watch TV in bed at 7pm.

Bed at 8pm and around 3/4 naps a day but the times are so inconsistent

baby monitor for half an hour whilst I clear up and then book in bed next to my LO. If I went to 9 all hell would break lose. You don't know what people are doing so I wouldn't judge straight away

4 naps usually. She gets so tired.

Avatar

So i can use the monitor then i get Told Many different things.. I’d love to put her to bed a bit early

Avatar

5 times. 4 short naps and usually 1.5-2hrs final nap (about 3-5pm) about 3-4 hrs in total x

Avatar

my boy has been going to bed between 7-8pm every night since about 8 weeks. We watch the monitor and check on him every 30 mins x

Avatar

Really does he sleep through? That’s so good.. i need to start getting her to bed a bit earlier then she’s been awake 2 hours now but still hasn’t had her last bed time bottle 😬

Avatar

he sleeps until about 5am, has a feed then back to sleep until 7/8am. Sometimes he’ll go through until 6/6:30 and on those days we just get up😊
Recently he’s woken for his dummy, was every hour but only once or twice now - pretty sure it was down to the “sleep regression”. He’s never up for longer than 2 hours, that’s the last wake window 5-7 and he goes down easily x

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(
