3 months PP and BF… is it possible or ok to be in a caloric deficit while breastfeeding or is too early to start?

I tried to get into a caloric deficit with pumping for our 12 week old but I found I was bottomlessly hungry all day!

Usually working out makes you hungrier, particularly if doing weights as more protein is required for replenishing muscles for growth plus needing more when breast feeding. I wouldn't necessarily cut calories, perhaps just focus on making healthier/ more nutritious swaps plus working out. This should give you good results whilst maintaining your supply and energy levels as a busy, fit mum :)

Yes this is possible. There is a feasible way to lose weight while still breastfeeding. I’ve done it and I am a certified nutrition coach you have help many in this situation as well!

My doctor recommended not going over a 300 calorie deficit, but it's safe to eat in a deficit!
