I still feel like I’m in the newborn stage with my 18 month old. He’s never been a good sleeper but recently it’s hit harder he’s got 4 teeth coming in but I don’t think that’s the only problem. He wakes 3-4 times in the night. I’ve just bought him a love to dream sleep sack instead of duvet and pillows as he pushes it off and wakes up cold. We have alexa with white noise on, pitch black but I think maybe that’s not working. What helps comfort your toddler at night?

My first didn’t sleep through the night until she weaned herself at 20 months. It was a long 20 months. She still wakes occasionally but early in I would talk to her or sing through the monitor so I rarely have to go in anymore. I just sing her to sleep on the monitor. Once she hit 2 we put on a red nightlight which helped her through the two year regression.

My boys had their absolute worst sleep phases at 15 & 18 months old. There is a LOT going in during those stages that affect sleep.
Teething, growth spurts, developmental changes, & routine changes are just a few things that can disrupt sleep.
Keep in mind that sleep is developmental not linear! 💕
