Looking for some info please…
I’ve been combi feeding my LO since birth pretty much as I had a C section and my milk came in day 12. Now we feed him two formula feeds a day (his last feed and the middle of the night feed) as it works for us.
I’m considering introducing more formula feeds as I’m finding BF very draining and hard to do in public as I’m using nipple shields. I was wondering what schedules other combi feeding mum’s have for some ideas on how to reduce BF gradually but still maintain a supply? My LO is two months btw so feeding is established.
Thankyou!! 😊

I was EBF and now combi feeding. I started with just one then upped to two now three. Within a week or so, he had one mid morning, one mid afternoons then usually one before bed. I feed him in the night as I find it easier but that's just me 😊 xx

thanks Lauren! How have you found your supply? Does it adjust easily? I’m a bit scared if I take another feed out my supply may drop too much then it would be a slippery slope!! X

No worries 😊
When I've missed a feed my boobs can get super full and I know I need to feed/express but that's only happened a couple of times where it's been painfully full and I've fed the next time on that side but it's definitely eased the more we've done it.
I've done it because I eventually want to wean him completely to formula. So when I spoke to hv they said if Im wanting to drop a feed just express a bit to relieve or have baby feed just a bit to let my body know if doesn't need to make as much milk at that time. I'm going to gradually do this as I introduced more formula to reduce the risk of clogged ducts/mastitis. If you're wanting to Keep your supply up I'd say if you're introducing another formula feed pump at the same time so your body knows to keep producing that amount. As that's the opposite of what I was told.
Hope that helps xx
