baby goes crazy as soon as i touch belly

every single time i put my hand on my belly he starts kicking like crazy! even when i move my hand up his kicks follow my hand. does anyone else’s baby do this? i also have an anterior placenta so i didn’t know he could feel my touch! i always feel like he’s terrified when i touch and starts going insane but i know that’s my dumb brain overthinking. i’m sure he loves it? idk 😂

It's playing with them. My little man likes it. He dosnt particularly like the heart doppler or the ultrasound wands tho. He kicks and scratches at them with a vengeance lol. My 22 week scan took a lil while because of this haha.

how do you know if he likes it? just trying to understand for myself bc every time i touch my belly he reacts so intensely! just happened again tonight and i just wanna make sure he likes it and isn’t scared or anything 😂😂

i read somewhere that babies can sense the mothers touch and know when someone or something else (the doppler/ultrasound) is touching them so maybe that’s why yours reacts differently to the equipment! which is so fascinating how they know lol

C-section information

How long were you in hospital for after your first C-section? I am having my first C-section next week and would be grateful of any advice or information. Thanks

Birth options

Hello! I am 16 weeks pregnant and I am finally able to start thinking about my birth now! I am so 50/50 between natural and c-section.

I would love to hear your thoughts!

What type of birth did you have Andrew you happy you chose it?

Or what type of birth are you looking to have?

Thank you so much Xxx

Royal London Hospital maternity Triage

Has anyone had any experience at the RLH maternity triage (6th floor) and if so, what was your experience like?

On two occassions I have been there regarding concerns with my health during this pregnancy and have had an unpleasent experience from the staff on the front desk, seems to be always one in particular where they have been dismissive with the sort of attitude like "why are you here" "we can't help you with that here" It's made me anxious about having to ever go there again, if need be. 🫤
