I have no idea what’s the best way to start this?? She’s always been a relatively good sleeper (has her moments though!!!) but she’s always fallen asleep on me or her dad but want to start getting to the point where she can fall asleep herself and getting an actual bedtime and stuff down!

I’d suggest doing some research and deciding how you’d like to sleep train and about the different techniques to see which one would work best for you.
Try to stay of social media for the info because there’s a lot of contradictory misinformation out there and will end up confusing you.

We tried the Ferber method twice and had success the second time. The first time we tried I just don’t think he was ready. What works best will be different for every child though.

As the first comment, I think the best option is to get well informed about it and make your own conclusions. You will find here tons of different opinions. I try with my little one a “gentle” approach and I couldn’t do it. The crying was too much for me.
