My LB isn’t far off that too and born same day! Never slept through yet, on a really good night he’ll do a stretch of 4/5 hours max but then wake every 1-2 hours after that! In the day we maybe get an hour max but mostly 20-30 minutes here and there! He is BF so don’t know how much he is getting but when he has a bottle of expressed milk he only drinks 3-5 oz. We don’t have a routine really time wise, we’ll put him down in bed for the night between 8-10 depending on his last nap time, our routine is just change into fresh clothes, change nappy, projector and white noise on and lights off. Every baby is different I think from this app, not a bad thing!

Sounds like 4 month sleep regression caused by the development of more adult sleep cycles that last 2 hours. Unfortunately that means they will need to be soothed back to sleep every 2 hours so look into teaching self soothing techniques or things that are quick to do (example my baby takes a pacifier and lullabies to sleep, takes just a few seconds for me to give pacifier back and hit button on music box then back to bed)

I’ve tried white noise and it doesn’t seem to work with her running out of ideas

oh it doesn’t get him to sleep, it’s just more like a sign that he’s going to bed rather than a nap if that makes sense? Sometimes we put lullaby’s on instead. Just any noise which he doesn’t hear during the day to kind of say, it’s bed time. Still have to soothe him/feed him to sleep 😴

My son is 3 and still doesn’t sleep through the night! I think its very normal to be waking at this age and my best advice is just look after yourself. Can you nap when she naps, sleep earlier to get a good chunk at the start of the night? They do get longer stretches as they get older, but more babies dont sleep than those that do - don’t compare yourself and it will get better!! Xxxx

When she sleeps I do all the housework bottles washing etc otherwise it doesnt get done and by the time I’m done she’s awake

Can you baby wear in the day and do the chores? Even if she’s not sleeping she’ll be close and happy and you can crack on? Xx

My baby was 4 months on the 10th. She barely sleeps in the day either and has 4oz every 2 hours during the day. She wakes up 3 times through the night for feeds between 9pm and 7am. My first baby was sleeping through by 8/9 weeks and I haven’t done anything different. Some babies just don’t sleep through unfortunately😅x

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Of these two, which seems more overall “demanding” to you, overall? Lighthearted poll, not putting anyone down 🫶🏼

As a mum who breastfed for 3 years, I think formula feeding seems 100x harder and more demanding. I give those mamas all the credit because I could not keep up with that faff haha. I truly don’t understand why people say breastfeeding is more effort, other than the fact that no one else can do it. But personally I’d take that over endless bottle prep & cleaning.

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

4 month sleep regression

Does anyone else feel like they’re back in the newborn trenches through the 4 month sleep regression ?? 😭😭 my boy turned 4 months yesterday and the past 3 nights he’s woken up every 20-40 minutes. He does manage to get back off to sleep after I give him his dummy. It’s so strange though because his daytime naps don’t seem to be affected? He has 2 x long naps a day (around 2 hours) and a couple 30-40 minutes here and there and seems fine during them, it’s just his night time sleep! I read it can last for 6 weeks, I pray it doesn’t because I am shattered 🤣🤣

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡
