3 year old and 11 month old won’t let me sleep!

The sleepless night haven’t this bad since my baby had her days and night mixed up as a newborn. The last few weeks we have been trying to get the 3 year old to be in her own room. She only wants me to cuddle her and do nighttime routine and she wakes up at least 2 times a night(she stays in her bed) but cries for me to cuddle her and I go back in. By the time I get her back down my baby is wanting to nurse and it’s a never ending cycle. Even when they are both back down it’s like my brain won’t shut off again and is waiting for them to just wake me up again. I don’t even check my phone while nursing in hope that helps me go back to sleep. I feel like 3-4 times is a lot for an almost 1 year old and when it used to be once. My husband feels helpless and tells me to nap as much as possible when he is home and keeps asking my toddler if he can do nighttime cuddles and she litterally screams and say she wants me. But doing to night routines when I have a husband willing to help is exhausting. Is it just an adjustment period and sleep regression that I just got to power through. Being the default parent for both kids is rough but my husband says it’s not fun to be the one that is rejected either. HELP!!! Any advice?

I'm in a similar struggle with my 2 year old and 5 month old.

Sorry you’re going through all this, it’s definitely exhausting having children so close in age but esp at night time lol Can I suggest you start pumping? Also, your 3 yr old unfortunately is going to have to start getting use to their dad, i had to tell my partner that. He would say, he wants you, he’s crying.. I unfortunately wasn’t home, or wasn’t available I dealing with my daughter. And it didn’t take long before the nights I needed dad to handle it, it made it a lot easier bc my son understood that’s just what it is. Consistency IS KEY. My almost 3 year old would obviously always want me over dad at night but once he got use to it, things went more smoothly. do it for your sanity!

it’s only hard at night! They are both joys during the day and are best of friends. I used to pump but now she won’t take a bottle I still have a lot of frozen milk. I tried to give her a little extra solids at dinner to keep her more full but it’s not working. Yeah maybe for a couple nights I might have to make my daughter and husband suck it up.

I'd say your husband should take over with your daughter, it's not safe for you to try to function with no sleep 💜

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Of these two, which seems more overall “demanding” to you, overall? Lighthearted poll, not putting anyone down 🫶🏼

As a mum who breastfed for 3 years, I think formula feeding seems 100x harder and more demanding. I give those mamas all the credit because I could not keep up with that faff haha. I truly don’t understand why people say breastfeeding is more effort, other than the fact that no one else can do it. But personally I’d take that over endless bottle prep & cleaning.

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

4 month sleep regression

Does anyone else feel like they’re back in the newborn trenches through the 4 month sleep regression ?? 😭😭 my boy turned 4 months yesterday and the past 3 nights he’s woken up every 20-40 minutes. He does manage to get back off to sleep after I give him his dummy. It’s so strange though because his daytime naps don’t seem to be affected? He has 2 x long naps a day (around 2 hours) and a couple 30-40 minutes here and there and seems fine during them, it’s just his night time sleep! I read it can last for 6 weeks, I pray it doesn’t because I am shattered 🤣🤣

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡
