Need advice
I have a 3 month old girl who’s on aptimil formula, she’s been bringing up a lot of milk recently and crying a lot afterwards like she’s in pain. The doctors haven’t been any help as they are just saying it’s reflux and she’s been in and out of hospital due to this.
Can anyone give me some advice on anything I could maybe try?

Maybe try a different brand of milk. My son was projecting milk and turns out he was just a lil lactose so we switch and things were fine
Have they medicated her. It sounds like reflux/ heartburn. It's painful for them x
but before I do that I want to pass it through the doctors incase if I do that and it makes things worse. But the thing is these doctors and getting appointments are ridiculous
yes, that’s wise. My son had reflex and it went it’s his lungs. Had to give cpr, rushed to the hospital and had to take a helicopter to a children hospital just to make sure nothing else was caused by it. But when the doc recommended to switch brands since his dad is lactose, things were better. He’s not lactose anymore but when he was a baby he was a lil then grew out of it
My little boy had really bad reflux and nothing helped at all! He was on aptamil as well and instead of changing brands I put him on the aptamil anti-reflux and it helped so much!
changing milk brands won't make things worse. All baby infant formula are made the same. If you go for an anti reflux one, it's thicker which helps it to settle in the stomach better.
My son had reflux and he had to be medicated with gaviscon and ranitidine x
that’s what she’s on but she seems to be getting worse
Aw bless her! I would just keep pushing the doctors and tell them nothing is helping and to try get gaviscon prescribed for her! Especially if the anti-reflux milk isn’t helping her
how long has she been bringing up milk? How's her weight gain?x
it’s been on and off for about 2/3 months now and her weight the last time she was weighed was 11.3
I’d speak to your health visitor rather than your GP. Babies are they specific area, doctors are exactly what they say, GENERAL practitioners and sometimes not as up to date on guidance
My little boy was the exact same. We changed him to aptamil anti reflux milk and he has been so much better! His stopped being sick and is so much happier in himself! Just be prepared that the milk is really thick so we had to go up a teat size to use this milk x
