Any idea would be appreciated

I think my daughter is going through the 2 year sleep regression early but I’m not sure. My daughter has always been a good sleeper, she usually sleeps from 7pm till 7:30am but recently she has started waking up at 1am every morning screaming and refuses to go back to sleep until 7/8am. This has been going on for nearly 6 weeks now and there are no signs of it stopping anytime soon. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice would be really appreciated on how we can try and solve this

Does she nap during the day? Has routine changed/meals etc

Avatar

we’ve tried taking her nap off her and it just made it worse, that night she woke up at 11:30pm and didn’t go back to sleep till 7am then woke up again at 9am. Her bedtime routine hasn’t changed since we started it and she’s eating most of her meals like normal other than her tea she’s starting to refuse to eat it

The same here. My LO was always good with sleeping, and coudl selfsoothing himself. Slept from 7 PM to 6AM.
One nap at 10 30 to 12.
Or when there is nursery- half hour nap.

Now wakes at night with crying and screaming past 5 weeks. It takes ages to make him sleep again. I am just drained as I have 2 - 3 hours sleep every day.

We have the same routine. Nothing changed. We tried to push sleeping time half hour but nothing change. HEEEELP😅

it’s exactly the same thing with my LO. She will only sleep if me or my partner are in the room with her, if we try to leave she gets up and starts screaming again. We got told that this is the age when they will become scared of the dark or not, so we bought her a night light and nothing changed. We’ve tried changing bed time, bottle out of cot, bottle in cot, quilt, no quilt, white noise machines, stars on the ceiling, reading her a book in bed as well as before bed and we’ve even tried lavender pillow mist to get her to sleep and nothing seems to be working x

Mine has also been a good sleeper until now!! Waking at midnight then every hour almost ready for the day or crying ! I’m not even sure what he wants. This has been going on 3 nights now

I’m pretty sure the 2 yr sleep regression has hit us early too. No split nights thankfully but a tonne of night waking. I do also wonder if it is partially teething but god it’s exhausting

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Of these two, which seems more overall “demanding” to you, overall? Lighthearted poll, not putting anyone down 🫶🏼

As a mum who breastfed for 3 years, I think formula feeding seems 100x harder and more demanding. I give those mamas all the credit because I could not keep up with that faff haha. I truly don’t understand why people say breastfeeding is more effort, other than the fact that no one else can do it. But personally I’d take that over endless bottle prep & cleaning.

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

4 month sleep regression

Does anyone else feel like they’re back in the newborn trenches through the 4 month sleep regression ?? 😭😭 my boy turned 4 months yesterday and the past 3 nights he’s woken up every 20-40 minutes. He does manage to get back off to sleep after I give him his dummy. It’s so strange though because his daytime naps don’t seem to be affected? He has 2 x long naps a day (around 2 hours) and a couple 30-40 minutes here and there and seems fine during them, it’s just his night time sleep! I read it can last for 6 weeks, I pray it doesn’t because I am shattered 🤣🤣

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡
