Waking to feed suddenly

Okay I’m worrying!! Mum to mum advice needed here!

My little girl is 3 weeks and 2 days old, and she usually feeds every 2-3 hours on the boob, and has a formula bottle before bed.
Since this morning I’ve found that she’s been very sleepy to the point I’ve had to wake her to feed as it’s been 4 hours since the last feed. She always usually wakes after a couple hours but now she seems to just sleep. She woke from a 4 hour nap earlier and eventually wanting feeding after kind of rejecting it a while, and then basically stuck to my boob for the rest of the evening, kind of like she was playing catch up. Since going to bed tonight I’ve found that she’s gone the 4 hours again, which isn’t normal for her as she always wakes up after 2 ish hours. She had her bottle at 9pm ish last night and she only barely started stirring at 1.50am, which I then needed to wake her up as she fell back asleep.
I don’t mind that she’s sleeping because it gives me that extra sleep but they recommend not further than 4 hours each feed until 6 weeks I think. Is she having a growth spurt? Although I would’ve thought she’d need more food for that. Sorry for the rant girlies, I’m stressing!

My midwife told me never wake a sleeping baby. Yes you get some that will say dont go longer than 4 hours without feeding but a baby won't go hungry so if there sleeping let them they will tell you when there hungry. At first I was clock watching waking him until I spoke to this midwife I now find he feeds better because he is feeding when he wants/needs to not when I want him to cos am clock watching.

I think as long as your baby is gaining weight and having wet and dirty nappies it’s all good. We were told to wake our twins as they were prem to make sure they were growing but now we know they’re growing well my HV said not to stress as long as wet / dirty nappies & growth. At night they starting going from 3/4 hrs to more like 6 and it happened quite randomly but they’re still growing and will wake after 3hrs if hungry X

4-5 hour stretches at this point is completely normal. As long as they are gaining weight and having lots of wet and dirty nappies then they are getting enough milk so don't worry about a few feeds being an hour or 2 further apart than before! I think the every 3 hours thing is to make sure they're gaining weight properly in the first couple of weeks so as long as that's happening you can feed them when they want it. Mine is almost 5 weeks and sleeping for 5 hour stretches sometimes now she's getting a bit chunkier!

I got told by my health visitor if baby is over birth weight, alot of wet and dirty nappies during the night it's not needed to wake baby up unless they wake you up or any medical conditions that you may have to wake them up for feed. During the day it's 3 hours, I wake up my baby from naps if she goes to the 3 hours mark but she normally wakes up before anyways

If she’s gained birth weight and weeing and pooing midwife said they can go over 4 but probably not over 5/6 x

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Of these two, which seems more overall “demanding” to you, overall? Lighthearted poll, not putting anyone down 🫶🏼

As a mum who breastfed for 3 years, I think formula feeding seems 100x harder and more demanding. I give those mamas all the credit because I could not keep up with that faff haha. I truly don’t understand why people say breastfeeding is more effort, other than the fact that no one else can do it. But personally I’d take that over endless bottle prep & cleaning.

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡
