Hello,
My LO is 15 weeks and I’m really struggling with ideas for playtime?
I get such bad mum guilt feeing like we’re not playing enough or helping his development enough?

My daughters 14 weeks and we don’t really do a lot, we go for walks and play on the playmat but that only keeps her entertained for so long. She just loves watching dancing fruit 🤣🤣

14 week old baby, we do FaceTime with my mum (who’s in a different country and hasn’t met her)
Walks
Read books
Tummy time, either with toys or on a water mat thing
Sing songs In both languages
I also take her to the mosque quite a lot so you may consider Sunday mass or anything like that!
I play superwoman with her where I pretend she’s flying (holding her very well of course)
I make faces at her and I csn tell she’s trying to figure out how to copy them x

Not a suggestion but I feel the same a lot and then chill myself out by thinking "I bet Albert Einsteins mum didn't buy him black, red and white cards or drape coloured scarfs over him and he still seemed to develop pretty well".

If you can I would recommend going to baby sensory classes as they have gave me a few ideas for play time at home or even play some YouTube videos of sensory songs and do the actions along with it for them!

thank you for this as I’ve been struggling with ideas to play with my little boy and feel defeated if I run out of them :/
