Anyone had success transitioning baby back to their own bed after a few weeks of co sleeping? We ended up doing it to survive the regression but would like to gradually move her back over l

Yes we have. Did it gradually over a few nights so went from co sleeping the full time, to half of the night to just a couple of hours etc. He’s back in his cot in his own room now and we are all getting such a better night sleep!x
can i ask how you did that? Having such a struggle getting my LO to accept their bed atall atm

No advice but we’re in the same boat, worried now that he’s too used to coming in with us as he wakes up after a couple hours and won’t go back to his own bed!
great she will do a few hours as a start though, my LO wont go in hers atall :(

We would put him to bed in his cot with white noise. When he woke up after a few hours the first night we would bring him straight into the bed with us. The second night we would settle him back in his cot the first time he woke up and then bring him into our bed when he woke up for the second time and so on and so on. It’s difficult as sometimes the settling could take 30 mins or so but we knew we needed to get him used to being back in his own bed so just had to suffer for a few nights of minimal sleep but it’s definitely paid off for us now xx

We didn’t do it for weeks but a few nights. I found that he so woke more at the start so I’d pick up and cuddle him or feed to sleep then transfer for as many times as needed :) x

I found keeping him wrapped in a warm blanket would make the transfer easier to the bedside. I would transfer him once asleep. He generally sleeps straight away after his feed in the middle of the night but I will say we do co sleep if he’s tossing and turning / not sleeping well.
