Recently, I've relocated to a new area with my partner and first born with my second baby due in Jan. I'm feeling a little lost in terms of not knowing what to do in my own time - time away from my partner, whilst my son is in bed - in attempt to have our "own time". We've moved to an area where he already has friends here, so he'll often go out to the football, or pub quizzes etc, and I don't know anybody to be able to do the same. Plus, being 6 months pregnant makes that harder! Any suggestions on what I could do please to try and take some "me time" and make some new friends?

Have a look for pregnancy yoga in the area to meet some other mums to be! You could also join a walking group or book club, or if you take your son to a little group you could meet some more mums? Also on this app there is usually a group for each town or city and girls sometimes post on there to meet up for coffees etc!

thanks so much! How do I search for the groups where the Mums meet for coffee? As for groups with my little boy, we find that difficult because I work full time, and he's 5, so he's at school, so we only really have evenings and weekends where we could attend a group and most groups seem to be in the daytime. I'll look into the pregnancy yoga though, that's a great shout. Thankyou! 😊

I'm finding it hard too-ive gone on maternity leave and already feeling bored lol. But as you say it's hard when your 6 months pregnant.
I've joined a few local Facebook groups, and I wanna join a book club as well.
I know it's not really the same but Meet up and eventbrite have loads of free meet up/social groups that you can do online If you didnt feel up to going out.
I'm also going try my local library.
Feel free to message as well 🙂 x
