Mine too

mines as well she just started doing that

Mine too! I need a solution 😭

Mine too 😫

My doctor told me to put her down drowsy - with my hand on her she needs to learn how to fall asleep on her own.. I now leave her at night when she wakes when I know she doesn’t need to eat, she eats once a night. Then she’ll eventually fall asleep, she never cries, if she does I would get her but it’s been a couple nights this week and so far it’s going better.

my son wakes up every hour, crying. The crying gets louder and more hysterical the longer we take to pick him up to soothe him…any suggestions?

(He’s breastfed and falls asleep at the breast, so there’s not really any way to put him down drowsy. He’s completely passed out by the time he’s done eating and getting burped (which I still have to do otherwise he wakes up ten minutes later, screaming bloody murder because of a gas))

I feel your pain, we had a good thing going and then he hit 6.5 months and just started waking up all the time. Almost like he's whining in his sleep, he wakes up to feed about every 3 hours which he hasn't done since he was a newborn! Tried feeding more before bed but he won't drink more than 7 oz

My baby falls asleep while eating too, also breastfed. That’s why I’m trying the wakings at night .. oh no, poor baby!! Do you give him gas meds? I wonder why he is crying so historically? Does hé sleep in Sleepsack? What’s his room temp?

Same here. It's a whole mess 😩

Mine too, she doesn't always want to feed when she wakes but moat times she does

Me too!!!! She’s 7 months

no gas meds. We’ve stayed away from meds after he threw up on the infant Tylenol doc prescribed a few months ago.
No sleep sack either. He likes to stay cool when sleeping, and also he will try to stand as soon as he wakes up so we’ve tried to keep his legs and arms free when he sleeps.
The thermostat is kept at 73 or 74. Do you think that might still be too warm?

I hear you, it’s super hard! For us too :-(
Unpopular opinion but I think it’s normal, part of their development. There’s this myth in society that all babies should sleep through the night and whilst that works for some babies yes, it’s not for all. I’ve spent time questioning myself and whether I’m doing things right because baby dreamfeeds a few times a night but recently reading up a lot on the topic and realising that it’s actually very normal.
Our baby slept through the night in the first few months but now dreamfeeds a few times a night - i found it very hard at first (and still find it fairly exhausting) but maybe that’s ok because it’s a necessary phase? Once I started accepting it as normal I found it easier. Not easy, just slightly easier than constantly questioning myself on what was going wrong!

gas meds has saved me, and you only give 0.3ml .. have you asked your doctor about it? Ask them about the gas meds? I have my girl in a sleepsack and I think it just makes them feel cozy, the one I use isn’t too warm and the arms are open. No the room temp is fine.

he threw up because he ate already , it is best to give babies meds before eating .

they can stand with the sleepsack, look up burts bees sleepsack it’s long so they can stand .. you know your baby best, look it up and it’s always worth a try?

Lol mine wakes 3-5 and will be 7 months in a week

i believe it is normal. babes are going thru so much development, their sleep might not stay regular until well into their first year and some take even longer. there’s a big difference between what babes are capable of and what they actually do 😅 i was fighting my girl with her wake ups and then i realized that’s just how it’s gonna be sometimes. she usually wakes up 2 or 3 times and i nurse her back to sleep. sometimes i let her cry for 10 min or so and see if she falls back asleep, which she’s starting to do more.

My baby is 7 months and wakes in his crib at night but sleeps the whole night when he sleeps with us 😩 trying to find a way to keep him in his crib
