Mine say “Mama” to their dad but they know who dad is when I tell them to give him something. So maybe just a stage. Have you tried telling him to give something to dad, grandma?

Mine calls everyone mommy😂

Yes he understands who is daddy and who is mommy. For example if we say where is daddy? Where is mommy? He’ll look in the correct direction but he’ll call everyone daddy 😭😂😂 I think it’s funny.

@Monica yeah same here Even in pictures But when she is upset or just want something Her daddy turns to mommy

It's completely normal. My daughter was calling everyone mommy for a few weeks. Then, switched to calling everyone daddy. Now she is back to correct titles.

Hahaha we have the opposite problem 🥴 ours calls us all mama 😂😂

Mine calls everyone mommy😂

My older daughter called every man Daddy around this age. 🤦‍♀️ It was a little embarrassing when she'd call a stranger at the store Daddy. She also thought that everything that was big was a mommy and everything small was a baby.

Yup 😂 but my daughter does something a little different. All kids (under 13) are baby and all older women are GG like her grandma.

I forgot that she also called all older women Grandma too. There's a lady at church that was just tickled that she called her grandma. I didn't have the heart to tell her that it's because she's old. 😅

Mine calls me n my sister mom and her dad she calls him babe or dad or his first name something

Yup! Mine did this for awhile. He was calling his grandpa (my dad) daddy in public. So that was a little weird. 😂

Yes- all men were daddy for a while- there were a couple awkward moments when I was alone with him and he said it to a man in a couple! 🤦‍♀️

Sometimes my son calls us "Bae" it's what my husband and I call each other. 😂 I'm usually saying it more often, and my son will just mock me. He repeats almost everything we say, which is good. He learns fast.
