My son caught RSV, he’s on his 8th day or so and he’s more playful but I’ve been struggling to keep him hydrated. My anxiety is through the roof and I also have RSV now, it’s hit me so so hard and I even ended up with a double ear infection on top of it. I feel like I’m in so much pain and taking care of all of my little ones needs have been so hard. I mean I’m doing it but it’s really taking a huge toll on me. I just wish I felt better so that taking care of him wasn’t so hard or worrisome. I second guess everything bc my mind is foggy and yeah, maybe just need some encouragement or seeing if anyone else went through this and is better now.

I’m going through the same exact situation right now. Remember you’re doing your best for you and your baby. Try different flavor pedialyte for hydration or watered down Gatorade zero. As long as they have some of that it’s better than water. Soup also helps with hydration and soothes the throat. Try to take care as yourself the best you can. I’ve been on DayQuil and they have these super C pills that have been working for me. I hope you and your little one feel better soon!

Maybe try adding honey and lemon to his and yours water to help stay hydrated. If you guys can also drinking coconut water helps keep a person hydrated. I personally just don't like coconut water on its own but body armor has it in it and its delicious. I hope you guys feel better soon! My son and I got sick a few times together and it really sucks.. only been sick with the both of them mildly once or twice but its probably about to start happening again here soon... if possible lay in bed and snuggle. Also a bit of exercise (not heavy when you are sick but even light exercise like walking around a bit) can help drain sinuses. So helping meet his needs might actually be helping you a bit too. Just definitely still get lots and lots of rest for you both!
Thank you, will try all of those things
