Potty training

We started at 20 months. She will be 2 on November 3. My daughter was interested in the potty we had sitting in the living room and started sitting so we watched her for a day and sat her down every 15 minutes or so. We saw she wasn’t ready and would cry a lot so we waited 2 more months as she was taking her diaper and pants off on her own a lot and go around naked. Then I did every 15-30 minutes with no underwear and took her to the potty. After day 2-3 she was pretty good at going on her own.

We very recently started potty training.
For us the signs were she was telling us she was going pee and poop. She was constantly asking for her nappy to be changed because she didn't like the feeling of the wet nappy.
She was very interested in the toilet and would ask to use it. Even though she wouldn't actually wee on it. She liked to pretend her teddies were using it also.
I've also read one of the big signs is when they are hiding to poop!

I've half potty trained. He's pretty much done in the house, assuming he has no nappy on, hasn't had an accident for weeks. However, he makes no attempt to tell me when he needs to go when we're out, so I'm not stressing about forcing that at the moment.

They're still really young, my eldest was almost 3 when he potty trained and it was so easy because he was so ready. I only started this early because he was so interested and would tell me once he'd been to the toilet so over the summer I left him without a nappy a lot, he was a little apprehensive initially about using the potty so we role-played one of his toys using is and from then on he loved it. The key thing is don't rush it or it'll take longer!
