Following this and as I need tips too!

You are not alone in those feelings and the guilt eats you up, I know it does but you are human. You’ve just got to press the re-set button whenever you recognise that a day hasn’t gone to plan and start fresh in the morning. And always model taking accountability, make sure you apologise for your inability to control your emotions and then model how you would regulate yourself. Those are the only tips I’ve ever been given. If I feel myself getting angry and I’m shouting and I’m stomping around, I try to recognise it, go in the bathroom and cry it out in private and then go back to my daughter and say ‘I’m sorry I shouldn’t have shouted, I got frustrated. I’m going to take some deep breaths now and would really like a hug so that we can start fresh’. But when it comes to fixing behavioural issues in a child, that’s where I’m clueless and need help. I’ve made changes to how I behave and nothing seems to change the way my child behaves or acts towards me so like you, im at a loss rn xxx
