Heyy, my LO is nearly 4 months old and we’ve just put him down to go sleep for the night,
come downstairs but watching him on the monitor and he is rolling onto his front on his own.
Do I put him back onto his front or is it okay to leave him?
He does it in the night too as I wake up most mornings and he’s laying on his front xx

My 1st son did this and now my 4 month old son does the same thing! After 6 months i just left my 1st to it if he was comfortable and I’m doing the same with my youngest now, do whatever feels best for you and your baby even though the guideline’s are to put them back on their back as you probably already know!x

yeah I tend to just leave him to be honest.
I get panicked sometimes about it tho and i do turn him over but he does tend to sleep better on his front and now he can roll over I feel abit better about it xx

Guidelines from lullaby trust: Once your baby can move themselves from their back to their front and back again by themselves, they will be able to find their own sleeping position.
The first few times they roll onto their tummy, you might like to gently turn them back, but do not feel you have to get up all night to check. Give them some time to play on their tummy while they are awake to help their development, but make sure you supervise them while they are on their front.
