What time does your baby eat breakfast? Before first nap or after?

My LG wakes around 7am and wants a big bottle of milk (210ml) and she’s full up until her nap time around 930am then she naps until 11ish and has breakfast after that nap. I see some people give breakfast much earlier so I tried today before her nap and she wasn’t interested, only after.
Just wondering what everyone else’s routines are for breakfast? Does your baby prefer only milk in mornings ?

Before. I usually give my lo a feed from me then they get a small breakfast. And if they are hungry in between a wee bit of fruit or another wee feed

My LO wants milk just as he wakes around 7, usually give him about 6oz (180ml). We were doing breakfast around 8am, so and hour after but I've noticed hes more interested closer to 9am... then he'll have a nap about 10:30, sometimes he'll have a bottle before his nap othertimes straight after.

Before - 9am usually for breakfast he has a bottle when waking at 7.30/8. But still demolishes breakfast

I breastfeed my LB when he wakes at 6.30/7 then give breakfast at 7.30/8 and he's up for his nap around 8.30/9. He wakes up from that nap around 10am and then we have lunch around 12 before he naps at 1pm. I'd honestly just do what works for you though. Your baby may just prefer food after her nap. That or you could try halving her milk, give breakfast and then the rest of the milk after?

I think mine has bottles much more frequently than other babies but our general morning routine is up around 6:30, nappy change, bottle (of around 4oz), wash/sterilize/get breakfast ready while he plays, breakfast around 7:30, get myself ready/ playtime, next bottle (around 4oz again) then nap around 9:30/10

Thanks everyone, I think I might try splitting her morning bottle too, 4oz when she wakes, breakfast and then another 4oz before she naps. I’ll trial that tomorrow. If it doesn’t work ill stick to our normal routine of late breakfast

Can someone pls help i keep making this post and nobody is responding

My boyfriend booked a trip for us to go to mexico for a week as my push present. I have severe anxiety leaving my 7 month old with my mom. I know she will be in good hands but she’s exclusively breast fed for the most part but accepts bottles just fine. i have all my pumping parts packed and will pump when baby normally eats but i don’t want baby to forget me or have latch issues when i return!! any mommas ever experience this?

Postpartum

I’m only 3 days postpartum (FTM) and already have extremely bad anxiety. I’m crying every night, as I think of another night of no sleep. My baby will not settle in his cot, he cries every moment we put him down unless in his chair rocker. So me and my partner are having to alternate after 3/4 hours of being awake with him downstairs. I’m trying everything to get him to settle. It’s a load of overwhelming stress. I’m 23, I was desperate for a baby and now I have one and feel completely useless. I miss it just being me and my partner.

When does it get better?

I was crying on the phone with the perinatal mental health team today and the lovely lady, bless her, kept assuring me that it gets better. I kept telling her I hope so because people have been saying that since having my LO and it just feels like it keeps getting worse. She assured me it gets better....

Crawling

Did anyone’s little one start crawling yet? I feel like we are falling behind but really have no idea. I’m trying to introduce more floor time but it’s been rough because of having hardwood floors and our 80 lb oblivious to life dog. I got us a carpet for the living room and trying to put the dog out more when the weather allows. She sits like a pro and will roll to get the things she needs😅 but no real signs of crawling yet.

Night time routine

Heya, my 3 week old daughter is currently exclusively breastfed and I’m not pumping. Can anyone recommend the best way to share the load with my partner? At the moment I’m doing all the feeds/burbs/settling and my partner is sleeping through which obviously isn’t sustainable, I’m trying to work out the best way to get him involved. Any advice very much appreciated!
