My son is awake every night in the early hours and either struggles to go back to sleep or just doesn’t. We’ve tried early bedtime, late bedtime nothing seems to work. When he’s awake he wants us to sit with him which can be long. It’s every night and it’s just destroying us. My one year old is also up but easier to resettle between them they’re putting us into an early grave!!! Anyone else up every night? 5 years of disturbed sleep and I’ve just had enough 😞😵💫

Hi Laura, we are in the same boat, I can count on one hand the amount of times our 4 year old has slept through. It’s so rare that we assume she must be poorly if she does! 🤦🏻♀️
Like you we have tried everything , she won’t go to sleep on her own and needs us there for comfort so we have to lie with her until she falls asleep. We now have a 3 month old so we are definitely aging with the lack of sleep 🤣. People said that it would get better when she goes to school but we haven’t seen that as yet! So definitely feel your pain. We are so worried that we will get a non sleeper again with our second too! Sending solidarity as we are right there with you, if you find a solution send it my way 😂😂😴😴

Thank u for responding!! It’s SO hard isn’t it. I’m considering going down the GP route it just isn’t sustainable we’re so exhausted 😩 I feel for u. N equally so jealous of the parents with natural born sleepers they don’t know how lucky they r!! Sleep is just everything. My one year old settles fine initially but ends up in our bed most nights as it’s just easier. We were also told it’ll change with school starting but if anything it’s worse! Seems never ending. Dreading tonight and whatever fun it brings in the early hours 😣 x
