Anyone suffered bad back pain after having an epidural? Baby boy is 5 weeks tomorrow and I’ve been in agony since, I had asked a midwife a few days after he was born and was told it’s just trauma from sitting in the same position for so long etc etc but like ??? It’s been 5 weeks and still sore 🤣

I'm the same.. its lower back and its agony, it doesn't help that I have such a clingy baby and she's in a carrier all day but its pretty bad x
It’s awful! Mine is kinda mid back. I’ve tried pain killers, hot water bottles, heat patches, freeze gels, all sorts and nothing helps 😭 It’s one reason I didn’t actually want an epidural as I had heard things but baby was back to back during birth so the pain was unbearable 🤣 x

Bless you it's horrible isn't it.. even my pain changes its location on my back. The thing is I had an epidural with my 1st too and I never had this pain, but this time I do.. I hope it does get better soon for us both x
Yes I was just about to add the pain changes places! I also seen something about the weather being cold could cause the pain(?) unsure how true that is 😅 soon find out if it doesn’t go away and summer rolls back around 🤣🤞🏼

Lol roll on the summer x

Yes! Right in the middle of my back, I’m 4 weeks pp.

Sameee but I did ask them to not give me an epidural while they were going to do a forcep delivery 🥲

I’m 2 weeks pp so I’m not sure if it’s too early to say but my back is a huge huge problem atm too. I take the painkillers from my c section for it instead of the wound itself at this point
