What are your 7 month olds up to?

Cody loves to say BABABABA allllll day long lol with the occasional dada and mama
He can wave bye bye and is very very close to being able to clap 👏
He is now able to get himself up onto all 4s and is rocking back and forth but not crawling yet 🥰
He’s loving his food, prefers lumpy food to purées and is Deffo a meat lover 🥩 🍗
🍼 still loves his milks though 🍼

Baby girl is crawling, pulling herself to stand (she will literally use anything for support), taking a few steps along furniture, clapping and waving in context. She says mama and dada. She’s stood up without support for a couple of seconds. I’ve recently noticed that she’s doing bigger laughs and starting to develop her pincer grab. She’s loves food 🩷🩷

Hallie loves saying mama and dada all day, she's just started crawling and over the weekend she has suddenly started to wave xx

Crawling, pulling self up. Saying gaga a lot and also ma ma sounds. Doesn’t like anyone eating if she’s not eating!

oh wowsers!!! Clever girl xx

aww no way!!
Did she do the rocking movements before crawling or just got straight too it?
I’m pretty sure Cody’s chunky thighs get in his way 😂😂
He loves to stand with the sofa but isn’t confident to pull himself up yet, he’s quite a caution bean xx

omg same! he actually growls at me if it’s something I can’t share😂

I think the rocking is so cute 🥰

shes crawling army style, but I keep seeing her also go on all 4s a rock. So whether or not it'll evolve into more upright crawling who knows 🤣 my toddler used to go along dragging a leg behind him and I think that was because he was so chunky 🤣 didn't walk until 17 months old either! Xx

Mine loves to clap all day long. Literally clap in his sleep 🤣. Is starting to crawl by lungeing forward. He says babababa a lot and has said mama and dada just a few times.

Well done cody, clever boy!

Erin can crawl, sitting independently and will get into a sitting position, she will climb anything and tries to use anything to perch on, she also can Idk how to explain it but stand bending over? Loves her food especially meat, pincer grabbing everything, bounces and gets excited whenever she sees me, reaches out to me :)
Not much babbling going on now, but alot of shouting 🤣

Does this happen over night lol I feel like my guy Cody is doing great but lazy. No crawling but he wants to move more. Starting clapping today.

My friend is over from another country but I don't feel like leaving the house

One of my old friend's is visiting where I currently live and we agreed to meet up today but I feel so tired and exhausted from everything that's been going on with me. I feel if I meet her I'm going to end up having another breakdown from the exhaustion which I have been having often. I'm just thinking about how I need to rest to be able to deal with my toddler and go back to work on Monday without feeling like I need another weekend. I'm torn on what to do so I need you guys to help me decide

Post partum dad

I have a 2 month old. A few weeks ago my husband crashed out because he didn't feel like he was getting to bond with her. I started exclusively breastfeeding around that time and honestly didnt see the big deal. Baby and I left for a few days and when we got back home, everything was fine. He was extremely hands-on. He helped with my meals, her bedtime, bath, stories.....for a few weeks it was great. Then he randomly sounds depressed af. He says our lo is better off without him, he wants to sleep all day , he asks me not to watch tv then tried playing a video game. He refused to reply to me when i asked any follow-up questions. Then he woke up our baby trying to race me to the bathroom first thing in the morning . He's doing a weird mix of crying, trying, and giving up. Im starting to feel like I cant handle him not being able to handle life with baby and just want to be alone. Are there resources for men?

Weaning

Hello mamas, could I get some advice please with how and what to wean as started this week with my baby but not really what to give and when what time day. Have started with puree vegetables and making them myself and offering it in the evening to my baby but she tends to get irritated and tired and has a few spoonfulls and then gives up and has a meltdown. So I’m questioning myself am I feeding her wrong time of day and what’s best to mix the food with milk or baby rice please.

Do I need to pay anything when my child starts school in September

I'm a new mum and obviously didn't grow up in the uk. I currently pay roughly £640 for nursery fees. I'm wondering if my expenses will reduce when my LO starts school or there'll be other expenses (besides bags, uniform etc) will my expenses be anywhere close to £600 monthly?
