I don't know what to think anymore, i start to think im crazy or my little madam is playing with me 😅is 6 weeks now that I'm cosleeping with my 10 weeks old baby girl on an sofa bed. I'm EBF and she is constantly on boob during the day and every hour or 2 at night time. I've tried every kind of dummi for help her with her stomach and help me with a little me time but she just refused them, however it didn't bother me as I'm a Sahm, and enjoying it, but what concern me ,is that at 4 weeks when I was laying her in the moses basket or simply in the bed she became sick, and not just a little split, she projectile vomit, and this was happened every time I was laying her down except for the nappy change when I was next to her. We finish twice at the ER because she was chocking with thik saliva, and as the doctor said it was because of the reflux. She was on gaviscon and supposed to start with omeprazole too but I never give it to her. Now, when she fall sleep ,after she finish on boob, i lay her on her back ,in my arms but on her back ,and she didn't throw up, not even a little spit 😑 I'm happy with that don't get me wrong🥲 but how couldbe possible, if I lay her down in the crib or moses basket or even in our sofa she wake up and start to be sick if she is alone, and in the same position but in my arms she is absolutely fine 🙂 any advice on how can i lay her down without wake her up and make her sick?I've tried everything I know, I really don't know what to do. When we hold them they’re usually naturally at a slight angle which assists in reflux. My baby did this too. Was fine in my arms but would spit up the second I’d lay him down! I held him for 10-30 minutes after a feed and by the time I laid him down he was fine again. If I laid him down immediately, it would cause some reflux and he’d spit up. His specific reasoning for getting reflux (and this may be different for yours!) was that his nose was plugged so he was gulping too much air while feeding. Clearing his nose w saline spray fixed it and he stopped gulping air. I still hold him up for about 10 minutes after a feed— even at just a slight incline and he’s had minimal tummy problems. That being said he still spits up from time to time which is to be expected! Though EVERY TIME or projectile vomiting as you described is not. Hopefully these tricks can help you and your little one?

thank you for the answer, i use saline spray and i maintain her lil nose clean, I try to hold her 30 min ,even an hour, but it didn't work , if she didn't wake up there's no problem, but as soon as she wake up ,after a couple of minutes she start to cry and throwing up, and is scary because se chockes.

Really bad reflux is often a sign of cows milk protein allergy. It's definitely worth it to cut dairy for 3 weeks, as a trial. If it is cmpa, bubs reflux will be markedly improved after 3 weeks.
