I'm just looking for tips and advice. I feel really bad to say I'm struggling with 2 under 2. My first is 17 months, and my newborn is 3 weeks old. My partner is going back to back after Christmas and I'm terrified that I won't manage.
My 17 month old still doesn't sleep through the night and has started having tandems. She also always used to contact nap, any tips for getting her to nap while you have a newborn as well
My newborn sometimes hates the moses basket and just wants held, usually when trying to get the eldest for her nap.

My toddler was also still contact napping and what we started doing after baby was born was setting up a pillow & blanket next to me on the couch & putting on a movie. About 90% of the it was successful getting a nap or 90 minutes of “rest time”. And honestly some days I still get stuck in a double contact nap & it is what it is 😅 2 under 2 is TOUGH but eventually you get into a new rhythm & figure it out.
Thanks for replying, I'll definitely try that. I just feel like there is always someone crying these days 😂. It's so hard!

I did exactly the same, bottle with a movie. Naps are always much later that I would like as I have to wait until my toddler is really tired for him to actually fall asleep independently, but it seems to work 🙏🏻

Im having to hold my 18 month old while my 3.5 month old is sleeping in her swing byt both my kids are sick rn

it’s gonna be difficult, but you got this girl ! i’m a single mummy with 2 under 2 (19 months and 10 weeks) and i’m coping perfectly, even through the tantrums !
