Hello ladies. Does anyone else’s toddler seem to have flat feet. Mine is not yet walking unaided however standing up and pushing walker around. Well when bare foot I noticed ankles tilted inward and no arch on the feet. Bit worried now. Does anyone else have this ? Thanks.

Google it. Most have flat feet until age 4 or even 6. It's because everything is soft (compared to an adult).

Really normal. Until they've been walking a while their way of standing/walking can look really weird too (turning feet in, twisting them, standing on just one part and so on). As they figure it out, it'll look more normal 😅 If they're quite tall compared to walker, getting a taller one or restricting it and encouraging cruising with gap navigation can help develop a normal gait a bit quicker.
Many thanks for that. It really helps to hear that ❤️

I have noticed the same with the ankles inwards with my little boy, been starting to worry about it as it seems he can’t balance on his own because of it, he’s not standing or walking unaided either.
aww that’s same as mine. She won’t stand on her own yet as doesn’t have balance yet. I have ordered today orthopaedic mat to try and walk on it. It’s meant to help with balance and support development of the arch. However ladies above mentioned it’s normal at this age.

Oh I’ve not heard of that, my mum keeps saying I need to put shoes on him to help 🤷🏻♀️. Health visitor said he may be hyper mobile and will refer for physio if not walking at 18 months.

My little boy seems to be like this! He is a confident walker though but his ankles defo seem to tilt inwards. I read about over pronation and it being normal. It doesn't seem to bother him but I'm going to flag it with his GP just incase xxx
I will contact HV about this too. ❤️
