After nursing and not right before he is about to have a nap/sleep just in case he has a reaction.
I just mixed one baby spoon of baby oatmeal and about 1oz of breastmilk. I might’ve added more oatmeal after but it was super super liquidy

After my pediatrician said it was okay for baby food (4 months) I added some rice to her milk. In the mornings I give her baby food. After noon I give her formula with rice dinner I give her baby food. Before bed I give her rice with the milk then I put her on the boob because it’s her comfort way to fall asleep

Personally I wouldn't use rice. Arsenic has gotten into the soil and is at a higher rate in rice and disproportionately goes to our babies compared to adults. If you're going to use cereal oat is better but if he's showing signs of readiness you could just start with purees as that will give more nutrients.

Thankyou x

I do recommend starting with baby cereal because it's enriched with iron which is the most crucial followed by vitamin c. I offer milk first then after he is satisfied I give him 15-30min and offer cereal until he shows disinterest

@Katherine what's baby cereal ? I've got aptamil baby rice I thought that was cereal 😆 I knownit says rice butbibjuat assumed that's what babies have for breakfast . Is there anything in particular a brand that is good. ? I use aptamil formula .

I started with oatmeal as rice cereal is way thicker thank milk and just make it thinner. I found rice cereal made my baby constipated even with having a bottle before and after eating.

Than kyou I think I'll start with purees or the oatmeal first then . X
