My baby has just began refusing her bottle. We both know she’s hungry, but it’s such a fight to have her drink the bottle. She’s constantly moving her head, spitting it out and just overall very uncomfortable looking. This only started a few days ago. Anyone else experience this? Any tips?!? Thanks 😭

Is she gassy?? Our son refused when he was really gassy. We had to change to enfamil gentlease. And he did a lot better

Mine did this too and I had to move to a size 2 flow, turns out the flow wasn’t fast enough and was making her frustrated. Not sure if you have done this yet

I don’t think so, we never had a problem with being gassy. & we do use enfamil gentlease!

I would try changing the nipple size also! We had to size up

i use the avent natural bottles and the bigger bottles come with a size 3 on it. it’s been good up til now 😩

ok thanks! i’ll try a size up & see if there’s a difference 🤗

My baby was doing that too! It’s so confusing because I know she’s got to be hungry but why is she fighting it! I was able to give her a bottle while she was lying down in her crib. A small victory

My daughter refuses the colder milk I think she likes it warm. Maybe it’s just her

We’re going through this now!!! (3 months, 1 week) It’s SO awful — it’s taking over an hour for each feed. He just turns away from the bottle and cries constantly. I called my doctor and they said there are a few things it could be:
- silent reflux
- early teething
- developmental changes
Whatever it is, I hope it passes SOON.

thank you! it feels good to know we’re not alone 😩 she’ll be 4 months on the 16th and i do think she’s showing some signs of early teething
