i would make a appointment with your pediatrician it could be a allergies to the formula or maybe can’t have dairy or could be a bunch of things if you haven’t take photos of the water coming up to just to show your doctor as well and they should be able to do testing to see what might be going on

Could be gas or formula intolerance. Make sure you’re burping well

Honestly see your GP. My daughter was so miserable and unhappy all the time, she was constantly crying through out the day, she would cry at the bottle, spit up and then spit up clear liquid, she was wheezy, congested, constant hiccups and runny poo. I went to the doctor because it was making me miserable and not enjoying her. They put her on Aptamil Pepti to trial CMPA / Reflux and she’s been on it 3 weeks now, and things have improved. Not fully however as I think she needs to be on formula completely free of cows milk as she’s still wheezy and sometimes still fights me with the bottle.. but things have improved and she’s a lot happier most days. My son was like this all he did was cry and barely slept and he ended up having a cows milk protein allergy, I would definitely speak to your doctor and ask to trial one of the prescribed formulas! As soon as we found the right milk free formula for him he was like a different baby and he’s the happiest boy ever now. I really hope you get it sorted I know how awful it is to see your baby cry all day and how mentally exhausting it is as a mum to feel like there’s nothing you can do x

My baby couldn’t tolerate anything but goats milk. We used Kendamil. Even now she’s over a year and she can’t drink whole milk. She doesn’t have an allergy just maybe an intolerance? She had a lot of digestion problems when she was that age and was on cows milk formula. We tried amino acid formula but that was freaking expensive! Ask for samples from the pediatrician. We tried everything.

Sounds like an allergy to milk. Speak with the GP about trying some different milk. They will probably try and give you Aptamil Pepti 1 which still has milk in it but very broken down and some babies can tolerate it and some can’t x

Sounds like you’re both having a really tough time, my heart goes out to you! Have you contacted your health visitor? I know my health visitor team have an infant feeding team who help with formula feed babies as well as breastfeed babies - could be worth investigating if there is some support for you there! Hang in there though, I’m sure it will get better and you’re doing an amazing job!

When my daughter was tiny she wouldnt latch so put her on formula she struggled sooo bad, wind, tummy pain, constipation the lot. Doctors thought she was lactose intolerant when she was 2 days old... out her on that nutrimigen stuff 🤢 made no difference she just stank of the stuff.. My aunt then told me to try the ready made formula as its easier to digest amd it what my cousin was on as he struggled too.. And it was a game changer.. so maybe try her on the bottles of formula? Its expensive thats the only downside.

8 week jabs 🙈

When should I give my little one Calpol before or after?

The doctors have told me to give it to him before and other people have told me to give it to him straight after as it could hide some of the symptoms.

Blackout curtains or blinds?

Now the days are getting longer trying to keep my little ones room as dark and cosy as possible to keep her through the night, what do people use curtains or blinds that are blackout? And recommendations of ones that aren’t too expensive please!🩷

Do your boobs ever feel sexy again?

I breastfeed and so obviously my baby is always touching, feeling, massaging, drinking, licking all over my boobs.

My partner then goes to touch them either looking for sexy time or during sexy time and I feel like he's doing a milk massage... It just feels bleghhhh

Does this ever go back to normal?

Silly question...

We are having a day out in London next weekend with our 6 month old...

What do we do regarding bottles? We use a rapidcool to make bottles on the go using the hot shot method. But we only have a flask that holds enough for 2 bottles of hot water.

Do we get a massive flask to take with us (will it keep hot enough?) Or is it normal to ask coffee shops/ restaurants for boiling water?

Leaving toddler for dad

Does anyone else leave their toddler in the morning for their dad? Like I can hear her shouting (not crying) but I wait for him to wake up to go get her out of bed.

The reason I do it is because if I were to go and get her, he wouldn’t get up, like I mean would stay in bed for an another hour or two whilst I’ve already been up and started the house work. Also, during the week when we have work and she has the childminder, I’m always the one to get up, sort myself out, the house and the dog out, then get her up and ready, then he gets up 10 minutes before he has to leave and does nothing.

So am I wrong for leaving my her in the mornings sometimes on our days off? Cuz he’s making me feel as though I’m wrong for doing it.

Would also like to point out our daughter never wakes up before 7:30 (except childminder days), most days she doesn’t get up until 8:30/9.
