Anyone else suffering with Pelvic Griddle Pain?! I’ve heard people mention pain in their hips and thighs but mine is literally in my pelvis and perineum but not anywhere else. It is agony to put shoes on or walk up stairs so I’m just wondering if this PGP or something else? I’ve had it since about 18 weeks but the last week or so it has gotten sooo much worse with basic everyday tasks even to roll over in bed.

Ive got PGP really bad aswell in my hips and my pubic bone not really in my back most days i feel paralysed because i cant even roll over in bed without being in agonising pain and i struggle to walk up the stairs all the time and ive had since about 12 weeks… if you buy a belt from amazon and speak to a physiotherapist at your local hospital they can give you crutches to support yourself with your upper body rather than your hips taking all the weight of the baby aswell as you standing

I suspected I had it and went my GP today and they confirmed it's that. It's awful and so painful. I've been sent some exercises to try. He also suggested using a TENS machine as well as support belt x

I’ve got it and I asked my gp which has given me physiotherapy. I got a maternity belt and it hasn’t helped much personally! I also have a big gym ball to do simple exercises while I’m at work. I’m now 31 weeks but been suffering since 20 weeks. A lot of people say that a U maternity pillow has helped but it made my pain worse and moving in bed is awful! The ball helps the most but not all day! But not much helps 😅

Yes it's the worst! I'm having my second physio session tomorrow as at times it hurts to walk or move. I ended up with crutches my first pregnancy and I'm trying to put them off as long as possible this time

A warm bath with epsom salts offers some relief too x

Hey, sorry to hear you’re struggling with PGP, I’m 29 weeks with twins and have been struggling quite bad with it, the last couple of days it has been much better as I have got a good balance of rest and activity and it seems to really help, I’ve been doing short dog walks round the block just nice and steady and also sitting down and resting a lot, listen to your body and try not to over do it.
I know what you mean it is so hard and painful to lift one leg at a time and to turn over during the night, near on impossible,
Try and look up some stretches that may help on YouTube xx
