Can you receive regular updates throughout the day?
Screen time?
What is their approach to discipline?
Vacation or holiday days they are closed.
Sick day policies, do you still pay?
Potty training support?
What supplies do you need to bring?
Baby proofing?
Some of these probably very between the setting and age of your child.

Melissa's list is great. Especially questions about their sick policy. Some schools (such as the one my close friend teaches at) that accepts small children does not send sick kids home because they care more about the money than the wellbeing of the Littles. Hence the outbreaks of HFM and Covid. I would also look for the ones that allow parents to login to cameras to see the classrooms. None of the video has sound for privacy reasons but some will allow you to see the classroom activities and text mom and dad photos and updates throughout the day. Cameras are a MUST for me with the tiny ones because once in regular school you don't get them sadly. Also if they offer potty training. My friends school does and trained her daughter within weeks

Make sure that they have cameras and that they actually work and get confirmation on that also like a video or something on them saying that they do just in case something does happen. I don’t trust daycare.

I was just looking up preschool search ideas and came across this.

How do you deal with bad behavior? You’re looking for them to say distraction and redirection..
Do you help in potty training?
What are your cleanliness practices with caregivers and children?
And extra benefit if there’s an app I love the fun pics and videos I would get of my babe learning
