Speak to your doctor, I think he’s too young x

I would ask your Doc my doc gave me the go head when my son was 6 months because he was pretty sick , hes now 2.5 years old and i still use it when sick or its hot out and hes been playing outside for a while, she told it's safe because pedialyte is essentially just electrolytes which is the same same thing that is in the Saline bags at the hospital that they would give your baby, toddler or you in your IV bag if you were dehydrated electrolytes are also what they put in spot drinks like powerade, body armor, gaterraide, extra that give it that salty taste it's great if your dehydrated, been working out, or are sick and need to replenish your vitamins and get hydrated quickly however I would talk to your doctor with any concerns you have

Check with pediatrician. Ours gave the go ahead if he needed it at one year old, but there may be circumstances that they might give you a different answer.
