My baby is going through her 8 month regression and it’s the worst of all regressions. Completely fighting her naps regardless of how tired she is. She’s more fussy and just overall I’m not getting any breaks until I put her down for bed. My main concern is that she’s started to stand in the crib and even after lowering the crib she’s had a pretty bad fall hitting her head against the slats. I thought that would teach her to not stand but nope! She will try to stand still and naps take almost an hour for her to sleep because I keep going in 10+ times to put her on her back to sleep. Any suggestions? Or has anyone else gone through this?

Been through this exact thing. Once my daughter learned to stand in her crib, it made naps sooooo much harder. I know it seems like it's going to go on forever but it doesn't. Also one thing that seemed to help was letting her practice her new skill in her crib during her wake period.

That’s a great idea. Thanks!

Have you tried putting her in a sleeping bag? Might make it more difficult for her to stand?x

like a sleep sack? That’s what I had her in when she first started to learn.

ahh yes a sleep sack, thought might help :)
