For the kids ? Or for us as parents?
Both !

So as a parent schedule I just do everything I can when I’m home during the week whether it be when my daughter’s sleeping or if my fiance is holding our daughter. That way the weekend I have some sort of relaxation. I know it doesn’t always work that way but, in my mind it helps me feel as though I get a break and have a weekend like the rest of the world if that makes sense. Kinda makes it so I don’t feel as tho I’m working 25/7 400 days of the year 😂 yes i exaggerated those numbers

So laundry I’ll do once a day or do it all in one day and focus on just that.
Kitchen is cleaned nightly because I hate waking up to a dirty kitchen and the rest of the house is cleaned once a day!

I work from home, and have 4 dogs, baby on the way. Currently, while.i work, in between meetings i take a 5 min break (so im not staring at a screen all day) and start a load of laundry, or run a load of dishes. I have a roomba that vacuums the floors for me daily and i mop once a week (will probably mop more when the baby comes)

I tidy up the house every single night before bed and I deep clean on Sundays. I try to maintain laundry during the week but sometimes I just get it done in one day typically Sundays. It’s easier for me to clean up as I go (do all the dishes after cooking, wipe everything down, etc.). I do the bathroom before I shower. The bedroom is where I struggle but I just tidy up even if that means I’m staring at a basket of laundry all week. But once laundry is done I put it all away.

I have a pretty awesome chore system set up with my kids - rather than allowance I do points. They have 3 chores each a day. They get 1 point for completing their chores by dinner (or noon on non school days) if they do that for a second day in a row they get 2 points (so on so forth) they loose a half point for each chore not done by bed time, and get a half point if they finish their chores after the full point time.
I also deduct and add points for good behavior or bad behavior.
They can spend their points to get a new toy, do a craft, go fishing, tablet time.
