Hospital bag

I’m 34 weeks, does anyone have a list of what’s needed in mine and baby’s hospital bag?

My friends made me a list and she said if you're low risk and everything goes straight forward you're usually in and out in a day, and there's not much room to take loads of things.
For you:
Phone charger
Nighty
Dressing gown
Pull ups
Snacks loads of! lucozade sport not the fizzy stuff
Flannel to wet and put on your face while your pushing
Loose fitting outfit to come home in
Shampoo/conditioner
Normal toiletries
Hair brush
Slippers
Flip flops (for in the shower)

For baby:
2xvests
2x babygrows
Size 1 nappies
Wipes
Sudocreme
Ready mixed formula bottles with teets (tescos do aptamil individual ones so you can just get a couple if you want to breast feed)
Cardigan
Hat
Blanket
Car seat
Dummy if you’re using them
That's all I've put in my bags, hope this helps x

I'd add some headphones and an ipad to the above list but otherwise they've got it covered!

I packed my babies outfits with nappies and a vest into individual sandwich bags and got a toiletries bag for spare nappies wipes nappy bags and nappy cream.

My bag I got wee zip bags for my outfits so took 2 nighties, 1 pair of pj's, light dressing gown and slippers and toiletries bag and a going home outfit.

What I also done was packed a spare bag with stuff for me and the baby incase we got kept in and we ended up bag in for a week once we got home due to jaundice and just grabbed the spare bag which kept us going for the week my partner washed the stuff I took originally and brought them back up.

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
