Toddler to sleep

Hey y’all! Okay so I’m kind of at my wits end here and any advice is appreciated but we we can’t and won’t do the cry it out method. So we just moved to a new state and house in September and our daughter has been fighting her night sleep for that she’ll either be really easy to go to sleep or fight for a hour or so before passing out. We got her a new bed she will sleep all through the night very seldom and 98% of the time she’s waking up two hours in or roughly four to get us to come get her to come to our bed. We have a spray we have used since way before moving for her bed for night time, we have a set routine dinner play snack bath brush teeth play for roughly 20 minutes read book with mom go to bed. She will not go to sleep without us in there physically and will bang on the door screaming. We’ve been trying to get her into sleeping again when she wakes up but she will completely refuse it and majority of the time will keep me up until roughly 4 am until she’s tired enough to go to bed again. I know she isn’t getting the amount of sleep she needs and it’s killing me. We did get her a new bed and a bed frame when we moved in I just don’t know what to do at this point. She won’t play by herself in her room and looses it if we try to leave while she plays by herself. During daytime her independent play she will do and will look at you and say “bye bye” im just so tired she’s tired I want my own bed back 😭

From my experience, once they get a taste of sleeping with you on your bed, it’s a done deal lol. We went on vacation once and she shared the hotel bed with me and it took almost a week to get her to sleep on her crib again. I basically just had to leave her crying until she fell asleep, which usually took about 10-15 mins sometimes 30. It broke my heart but I need my rest to be able to keep them alive lol and with her sleeping on my bed that’s impossible. After she got used to her crib again, now she knows bedtime is at her crib. Even though she still sometimes wants to stay with mommy, she doesn’t do the crying tantrums anymore.
Did you just switch her from a crib to a toddler bed? Because I tried doing that and mine did the same thing, she would immediately get up and be like “mama!!” And run after me so I switched it back to her crib until she’s a little more independent. But I know that’s a hard transition too.

no before we moved she had her toddler bed! We did get her a bigger sized bed and such it’s been a fun nightly routine haha she loves our bed and I’ve thought just buying ourselves a new one as we are due for it and she can have ours

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Postpartum

I’m only 3 days postpartum (FTM) and already have extremely bad anxiety. I’m crying every night, as I think of another night of no sleep. My baby will not settle in his cot, he cries every moment we put him down unless in his chair rocker. So me and my partner are having to alternate after 3/4 hours of being awake with him downstairs. I’m trying everything to get him to settle. It’s a load of overwhelming stress. I’m 23, I was desperate for a baby and now I have one and feel completely useless. I miss it just being me and my partner.
