I was a barber when i was pregnant with my 3rd so I was on my feet constantly. I kept a big bottle of water and drank it to somewhat else and between cuts I would go sit in the back and try to close my eyes for even 5 minutes at a time didn't take long for my boss to figure it out ahahaha I'd go straight home give my kids and husband a hug and kiss and go lay down on the couch I couldn't function for like 4 months it wss awful.
Sour candy's for me helped a little as well. And I was on those nauseous pills they can give you but they didn't really help much.

I'm into my second trimester now but still not over the nausea completely. Quick access to ginger candies and ginger ale helped relieve some of the nausea and definitely the pills that my Dr. prescribed. I kept a bunch of sour candies in my pockets. I realised that hunger made it worse so kept snacking on and off.

Agree the trick is to keep eating and drinking. It's been rough but has greatly improved and is so minimal now. The exhaustion is still bad at 13 weeks though. Good luck

i did just buy some and they are delivering later today haha of course didn’t help for work today but I’ll at least have them for tomorrow!! I def have hunger all the time too but problem is also having aversions so i never know what to eat because nothing sounds good! Hopefully it goes away soon!!!!

yeah it just sucks cause my aversions are getting bad and nothing ever sounds good to me! Lol

I have a similar problem with a ton of hunger and more food aversions than cravings. The nausea has also been awful. For me, I have saltine crackers with me at all times!! Sometimes I wake up to pee at 3 am, and then start snacking on crackers in bed bc how nauseous I get. I also bought sugar free liquid IV which I have 1 pouch for 32 oz of water. I don’t think it tastes good BUT I’m so parched that I’ve found it’s the only thing that quenches my thirst and prevents me from getting dehydrated. I am to have 64 oz of water a day. Finally, I’m not a soup person at all, but with pregnancy chicken rice soup is one of the safest things I can eat. I go to Whole Foods and buy containers of them so I have them at work with me at all times so In a pinch I warm up a soup and it keeps me at bay.

bananas, crackers and bread are known to help. But more importantly see what works for you.

@Christine totally. At the beginning what really worked for me was French fries 😅🤣 at first you may not want it but try a little and it might do the trick! Dr also said that was fine for now, honestly I wouldn't worry about being super healthy just finding something tolerable for now

My go tos were peppermint candies, Sprite, fresh fruit, smoothies, pb & j, water (with Mio when I couldn’t keep plain water down), and preggo drops. Other days it was hit or miss on what sounded good and would stay down. I did notice if I didn’t get enough sleep at night the next day would be really rough for me. I did also give in and start the unison and b6 combo at one point which seemed to help.

1. Cracker as soon as you wake up and get out of bed. Avoid water for the first one hour
2. I got my gynea to prescribe a med for when it was unbearable
3. My junior at work would jump in to cover me if I really couldn’t function and needed to lie down to calm myself , because let’s be honest 1 & 2 may not work all the time 😊

1/4-1/2 tablet of unisom at night and eating higher protein meals. I am super sensitive to sleeping meds so the 1/4 tablet helped me feel less nauseous and also not be groggy the next day❤️

oh i bought some unisom. Was i only suppose to take half? Hahahah. Oops!!!! I took the entire thing and it helped me finally sleep until 5am without waking because I’ve been waking lately at 3ish and can’t go back to bed so calling it a win anyways lol!! Should i only take half tonight?

@Christine no you can take a whole tablet! I've seen some OBs okay up to 3x a day. I'm just extremely sensitive to sleeping meds so even a 1/2 a pill will make me super groggy the next day. So if you feel fine the next day, take the whole pill!:)
