Do any moms have any ideas on how to get my 3 year old daughter to use the potty ? I have tried everything. She takes off her diaper when it's full, and she won't go on the floor until I move away and don't see . I turned my back for a minute, and she peed all over my chair and floor .

I was in the same boat as you. Obviously we can’t stop the accidents, but every time she has an accident I would just say uhh ohh we didn’t make it to the potty, and then I would redirect her to the potty and have a conversation about things where we potty. It was a year long process. Autism changes everything when we potty train. You have to remain consistent, learn her cues when she needs to potty, I found that reward baskets are good in some cases but if you do that don’t be one to dependent on it because you don’t want her to expect a reward every time she actually goes to the potty. Praise is a huge thing. Anytime she does go to the potty give her good job, and yay YOU did it. Just remember to keep your cool, and have patience. My daughter wasn’t potty trained until she was 4 1/2 and we started introducing the potty at 2 when she would pull her diaper off. As she got older we realized it wasn’t her being ready for the potty, it was sensory related.
