I’m doing baby foods, I’m so afraid that she gonna choke! I have tried scrambled eggs and avocado, but heck no she starts coughing and I panic so for now we’re just sticking to baby food from the jars she loves and it works for us. What are you mommas trying or what works for you little one

Fallowing cause my baby doesn’t want to take baby food at all and when I have try solids she would gag a lot and would reject it and she’s 7 months already

As a mom who has done both. I say follow whatever you think is best. My current little does really well with blw but my oldest kids did not. I've used baby food from the store, and given solid foods. Every baby is different and what works for one might not work for the rest. Now I also say that if the gagging worries you the most, I would look into taking a cpr class. I had to take one for my son when his ng tube was put in, but it was incredibly helpful and I don't immediately panic when my baby starts to cough. You may feel more confident about blw when you know what to look for and what to do in a real emergency.

We are doing a combination solids and purée. But I make all our purées at home. He does gag occasionally when having solids but I was taught a saying that really helps me to remain calm.
“Loud and red let them go ahead. Silent and blue they need help from you.”

Trying soft foods! Doing vegetables, he's tried flaky fish ( one great protein option), scrambled egg chunks ( plain egg without cheese added, as dairy directly hadn't been introduced yet) , tried protein blend puree pouches, but mainly doing the soft foods route. It's going pretty well, actually 😁

Most babies aren’t chewing at this age. I know none of mine did. Including this last one.. I would stick with purées. And save solids for a few months down the road.

yes!! I have one of these too for fresh fruits and other things I want her to try

Steamed veggies. She loves broccoli. Soft easy to chew foods like tomatoes..not the skin. Bananas cut in quarters and halves.
