Look up side lying release. It’s a spinning babies exercise and very good for this.

Squats/ball rocking/ a walk? How long have the contractions been happening? Are you at home or hospital? If at home can you put on a nice funny film with the lights low and relax? Orgasms are good to get things going too! Good luck mama 💜

Things that boosts oxytocin (love hormone). And keeping active! Whether that’s bouncing on the ball or walking etc.

Did you get induced?

Contractions start before you fully dilate. And then you get actual active ones where your body pushes at which point you’re dialated and you probably won’t be typing on this app.

How do you know you’re not dilated right now? Are you at the hospital? If your at home and have the opportunity sex is really good for speeding things up or side stepping up and down the stairs worked for me xx

I’ve been having them since 1 do almost 12 hrs I was at the hospital but the sent me home because I’m not dilating

Jump on an exercise ball but very lightly you can look on YouTube they help you do it the right way that’s how I did it with my baby

I personally dilated very quickly although I was 3cm when I went in the hospital and I stayed that way for a couple hours however she said I wasn’t progressing and I gave birth like 20/30 mins after she said that so 😂

If your contractions get stronger and you feel pain in your back and butt then I can promise you you're in labour and your baby is trying to get out and break the waters for you. Get over the toilet or in the bath and gently push with the pain. Should go eventually and then off to hospital you you x

look up dilation station on the toilet. It’s supposed to help. I had active contractions for 7 days before I finally started to dilate. Went in at 4 cm.

It took 27 hours of contractions to get to 4/5cm dilated for me. I got sent home from the hospital at 1cm (which really sucked!). I sat in the bath, walked around a bit, then sat on the yoga ball and meditated while my husband rubbed my back. Then went back to hospital

Lots of walking will help. Try to not fight the pain/ breathe and relax as much as you can and give in to the pain. Tensing up will make it take longer

Yeah I take ages to dilate as well, it happens. My labours were 24hrs, 8hrs and 27hrs. By the time I go in coz I can’t hold a convo anymore and focusing on each contraction, I’m already 8-9cm.
