This is coming up fast for us. We have a little 19 month old. What are your favorite resources/potty training things? Over the toilet potties? Little fake toilets?
We didn't get a lot of potty training things for our shower as we were limited on space and I realize I should get them now rather than later.

We leave her little toilet in the living room right now. Every hour, we are on the toilet practicing. Once I can get her to sit for an extended time I'll be taking diaper off and starting over with a naked butt and looking for her to actually pee.
Basically the focus right now is just making it a normal part of the day and routine. Desensitization really.

My son sits on his before bath time every night we are doing well with the sensation of it all but doesn't really understand why I pee or poop in the big one lol or why mine has water and his doesn't hea put water in it a couple of times.

I was looking at that one earlier, thank you!

I'm pretty sure that's what mine will do too. I think he's starting to understand. We talk about Mama's toilet. And I tell him the cats have their toilets (we have two cats and their litter boxes are in the bathroom too)

My son prefers the adult toilet to any potties- probably because he sees big sister use it. He tells us when he goes in his diaper but doesn’t go in the toilet

Here for all the tips, my son tried to tell me he had to go potty last week and tried to use a training potty but didn’t want to sit on it. Considering getting a training urinal because he liked standing in front of the potty to try and pee like hubby
