I 100% say diaper backpack. Nanny for 20 years and Now pregnant. You don't need the extra weight of the diaper bag strap hanging on your arm while trying to hold your baby.
Carry the car seat or really anything else. I have dropped and broken multiple water bottles and one bottle by putting the water bottle in the side of a diaper bag and then trying to swing it over my body while holding a baby. Much easier with the backpack sturdy doesn't fall out.
Baby has a blowout, easy accessibility. Take the Mat out lay it down in the front. Grab your diaper so much quicker with a backpack instead of digging through multiple pockets and slots to try to find What You Need.
I'll take a picture of the brand of diaper bag that Is a backpack my boss has when I get to work tomorrow. I don't like the Eddie Power one because it is too small. Someone gifted it to me.
The leather diaper bags get hot In the Sun and start to warp and fade in color.

I got a nappy back pack on Amazon I like that was less than £30

thank you. Definitely going to go for ruck sack style as opposed to over shoulder. I’ll get a proper changing bag then for the pockets

I think it's this 1 I have but I didn't buy it so can't be 100%. I like it it's lasted more than a year so far I don't use it every day but you can fit alot in it and it's comfortable to wear

That 1 looks pretty good with even more pockets than mines

I got this one, and I thoroughly recommend it 👌 https://amzn.eu/d/dCTnoM1

You can when they’re a little older like toddler stage but the first year it’s so much easier to have all the pockets built in to organize.
UNLESS you breastfeed exclusively and are super minimalist would be my only exception. Like if you only need your stuff and diapers wipes and a change of clothes they make the quick change portable diaper clutches that come with a changing pad so you could technically tuck that and a change of clothes a muslin and your wallet etc and be good to go 🤷🏽♀️

I have one almost exactly like this called ruvalino and it works for me and my twins well

The cons is that it is huge and bulky 😑 but with twins I don’t have a choice but to pack the world. They take different formulas and different size clothes and diapers so I’m truly over packing no matter what. But this is probably unique to my situation unless you have two very little ones.

I'm going with backpack and tote organizers that has multiple pockets like a diaper bag has but I can take the inserts out and change bags when I want.

Been using a normal backpack since baby was born a year ago, lot more room then a dipper bag more waterproof as well

this is an awesome solution

Get a diaper backpack. It has many Lil pockets for the extras u need. Outside side pockets for bottle and water. A zip pocket for the spoons, teether and snacks ull need over time. Don't get a bag bc it's restricting to an arm only. Having babies u need ur hands.
