yess. omg it’s so baddd with my son too!

my son bit me so hard yesterday that I screamed and today he’s just been licking my leg or fake biting but not actually chomping down. But I say something before he actually does it so idk and the Internet not helpful

I have a nice bruise on my thigh from a bite a week ago. My daughter is pretty into biting too. If it wasn't still sweater season I'd have way more bruises too. I honestly just try to stop it before it happens. Often it's when she's tired or overstimulated so I try to anticipate that a little. Sometimes I offer her something else to bite like if we're on the couch I'll give her a blanket to bite. No idea if it helps or not. I'm just hoping it passes on its own eventually. Sorry I don't have much of a solution but I feel your pain...

omg I’ve tried this but if I’m in the room he just wants to bite me😭😂

I saw a video saying everytime they bite do not react no matter how mad it is and then you get down to their level and say no biting you hurt me and then give them something to bite and say you can bite this instead and whenever you see that they want to bite you ask: do you need something to bite? And give them a toy they can bite. I tried it with my daughter and so far it worked so hopefully can help you too

how long did it take for her to stop bitting using this method?

im trying this tomorrow thank you i hope this works because i tired of being a chew toy 🦴 lmfao

It’s a stage that comes and goes pretty quick. My oldest did it at that age and she’s 2.5 years old now and now my 16 month old does it too. 2.5 year old stopped doing it pretty quickly and my 16 month old is doing it less frequently. I just unlatch them from biting my shoulder or whatever they’re biting and ignore it. Just a developmental stage but it does end fairly quickly without any intervention, in my experience.
