Hey ladies..
I'm really feeling alone and like I'm doing absolutely everything in our house. Me and my husband are just not connecting like we used to. It's been almost 2 months since we had sex, there's just no intimacy, I'll dress up really nicely and make a big effort and it goes unnoticed.
I feel like all he wants to do when I'm here is play on the Xbox or just scroll on his phone for ages with a headphone in.
I'm finding I'm just feeling angry with him all the time but it's frustrating because he is a really good dad and our little missy loves him so much. He knows what he's doing, he makes her yummy foods and plays with her when he has her on his days off while I'm in work. But I'm doing all of the house stuff, dust is gathering everywhere, there's so much washing to do, everywhere needs hoovering but it's all left to me it seems...
I feel like I'm at breaking point at the moment.
I feel so alone, all my friends live far away so we don't see eachother, I never have any time for myself and it's really getting ontop of me now.
I love my little girl to bits, she's literally my worldš i just wish I had more friends to help me not feel so alone and to go on play dates with š

If you're near or in Plymouth, I'm happy to meet up! ā¤ļø If not, see if there is a local children's centre as they have baby/toddler groups that you can attend

Hey, I hope youāre ok. Iām finding myself feeling the same lately and itās quite overwhelming. I have absolutely no down time, I do/see no one else and everything in the house is my problem or so it feels. Heāll be home and have an hour long bath whilst I get a 5 minute shower or heāll just get home from work and scroll on his phone for an hour whilst Iām sorting puppy and baby. He does no food, every meal for baby is made by me and thought about by me. Iām working 3x a week so feel overwhelmed by it all but donāt know how to voice it all without getting into a huge argument but itās hard not to feel resentful when youāre the default parent and do 90% of the work.

On top of that Iām still breastfeeding so he wants that 24/7 still and the demand on me just feels relentless

Same here (going to work, cooking, cleaning, washing, all baby duties, breastfeeding every 4 hours day and night).

Totally understand how you feel! My husband is also such a lovely dad but thereās no time for that husband wife relationship and it really does affect your marriage! I feel so distant from my husband sometimes too! Motherhood is beautiful buy extremely lonely at times š„²
