I try to offer food often but my daughter finds the whole thing stressful, I tried to do breakfast and dinner today, breakfast was Ella's kitchen fruit and baby rice puree with some berries and a couple of her favourite baby biscuits, the berries and biscuits went down alright but she hardly touched the puree. For dinner we had a heinz baby potato bake baby food and some carrots and Brussels sprouts, she had a few carrots and then just screamed until she pooped and then fell asleep. This is how most days are still going at the moment. Usually she will have some baby crisps or biscuits as a snack too. I just don't know how to help her have more though. I feel like we're really far behind other babies her age and am starting to worry about the nutrition she's getting. We've had a really difficult few months since Christmas as a family and I feel horrible that she's not getting as much nutrition as other babies her age on here seem to be, it feels like the last few months have gone by so quick and one minute it was it's mainly just for fun at this age etc and now she needs to be on 2-3 meals by now but she's just not there yet and I feel like I haven't been a good enough mum because she's nit at that point. just to note, she was born nearer mid June so has only just turned 9 months. Thanks in advance to anyone who's read and replies.

Yes, my LO is similar. She really has her days- some days she will have more than a few bites some days just tiny nibbles and she’s done. I’ve found it really hard to not compare my girl’s appetite with others but after a recent trip to the paediatrician, I am relieved. My girl is on the petite side and I have been worried exactly like yourself but till the time they are growing/ meeting milestones, we should let our babies find their own medium with food. Have you tried finger foods by any chance ? My little miss independent would rarely let me feed her so BLW just became our default and she did a bit better with feeding herself. All I’d say, if you are concerned in anyway, I’d have a chat with your HV and get her weighed, just to ease some stress. Good luck x
