I’m not sure if I’m being completely stupid (probably)🤦🏼♀️ but do travel cots come in different sizes for age? We have one for our little one which we took away with us a couple times last year when she was 10/11 months and there wasn’t much room in it then.. we’re going away again in September so she will be 22 months by this point and I really don’t think it will be suitable🤷🏼♀️
Does anyone have any suggestions on travel cots which are a bit roomier? Or on anything else to suggest? She won’t be ready to sleep in a proper bed by then either. Something we haven’t had to learn about yet so have come here for help or advice.
Thank you in advance 😊

We have a red kite from Asda which is a nice cot size, used as a little play pen too, fits my 3 year old niece in just for size reference and she's tall. I think my five year old niece has been in it before just as a joke and she was happily curled up in it x

You can get travel mattresses that fold up. Or you can use a safety guard rail. But depends on where you're going and how you're getting there! When we travelled with ours around a similar age he'd already been accustomed to sleeping in a bed. You may find the same with yours.
the one we have is a red kite and wondering if the one I’ve seen in asda is bigger, I need to find the measurements of the one we’ve got and compare I think! Thank you x
we’re going to the Isle of Wight and staying in an air bnb bungalow so there is a single bed option, like you say she might be at that stage by then but she’s not ready for that just yet. It’s hard to guess at the moment. Thank you though :)

Yes does look likely too small. You could try guesstimating based on her percentile on the height chart in the red book to give you an idea?
what a good idea! Thank you ☺️
