my lactation consultant recommended pumping past your let down prior to feeding. I have the same issue with my larger breast being an over producer and it seemed like my daughter would choke too because of my let down

Yes I would pump a little before feeding and also fed my daughter in a reclined position to have gravity help slow the let down

Literally just saw a post on Instagram for this… https://www.instagram.com/reel/C41BFfDuv3l/?igsh=aWRoNmVwNXFjNW1k

Hand express or pump before, I’d unlatch him every few sips when I noticed he was gulping down to kinda give him a break. Also leaning back works towards gravity and. My boy used to choke on it too and he’d get fussy on the boob. My milk needed to regulate and he needed to get used to - it takes time but I swear now he gets fussy because milk isn’t coming fast enough anymore 😂

I did the pump before letdown thing and now my milk supply is so uneven my baby adjusted tho. She just gets a lot of gas and spits up like crazy which is a bummer but she’s not mad about it lol
