My 14 week old baby has been exclusively breastfed with the occasional expressed Dr Browns wide neck bottle. It’s been 4 weeks since we last gave her a bottle and now she won’t even wrap her lips/mouth around the bottle nipple to latch!!!
Does anyone have any tips as I really want to start expressing or combi feeding with formula. I’ve tried giving her formula only and expressed breast milk only in bottle but she won’t go for it. It’s like she’s forgotten the bottle nipple!!!
Please please help!♥️

Sorry you’re struggling! My baby has one bottle of expressed milk a day and we’ve stuck to it in the hopes he won’t ever get bottle aversion. I think the consistency of it really helps.
We use mam bottles, but have heard that lansinoh bottles are really good as they’re so soft and breast like.
Another thing that helped my friend that had bottle aversion was giving a bottle whilst baby was still drowsy from a nap. She had success with this after weeks of no joy

My baby was similar and originally took the bottle with expressed breastmilk but then I became concerned about the latch and we took a break from offering the bottle. A few weeks later, we reintroduced and baby outright refused and got very upset when the bottle came near her.
We spent a few weeks reintroducing the teet just when she was playing and letting her just suckle on it (detached from the bottle and after a feed) to get used to the feeling again and then started to express a small amount of milk into the teet to let her associate it with getting milk. After a week or so she was much more comfortable with the bottle again will now take a ln expressed bottle with absolutely no fuss.
Hope this helps for you and baby starts to take the bottle again ❤️

Try lansinoh medium flow teats.
